Great for any pet owner that may be moving as it can easily be taken with you - unlike the underground systems on the market. Designed for dogs that are over 6 months and over 8 pounds. By the time a dog is over 6 months it should have all the basic commands down and this will be an extension of the dogs training.

Dubbed "the industry’s most advanced do-it-yourself, dog containment system" - this unit can cover an area up to 11.5 acres - much more than any other wireless containment system. The set up time runs about an hour or so and can handle two dogs with the purchase of an extra collar. The main unit just needs to be mounted outside on the house. Designed using technology borrowed from NASA - this system delivers a constant wireless boundary with no trenching required. Correction level of tone only or up to 5 correction levels are easily set with the on-board digital system so you know exactly the type and level of correction being administered.
The collar itself is lightweight and comfortable - just under 4oz. It is also water resistant and durable at the same time. One feature that I love is that when not in motion - the system goes to "sleep" to reserve battery life. A great feature as charging batteries can be a pain. On a good note- the system comes with an extra battery so one can always be kept charged and ready to go. While most underground fences can prevent your dog from returning to your yard (I have seen this in the past with my dogs), this system will not shock or correct the dog upon his or her return to the property. Correction will also shut off after 30 seconds if the dog remains in the correction zone for some reason - making it a very safe training aid.
The unit is all digital and easy to set up with low battery warnings as well. Two sets of probes are included for either long or short hair dogs too.
I only wish this product was available when I had my two Labs- Morgan and Delaney. They were wanderers! Owning 9.5 acres with a 2 acre yard I spent a fortune to have an underground system installed. Between lightening strikes and broken wires it was a nightmare. This system would have been the answer for me for sure!
