This is a 2 hour and 45 minute training DVD series that is a must if you are considering this type of training option. Originally released about 20 years ago it is still a winner today - as many "old school" techniques still are!
The average dog owner really has no clue when it comes to training their dog with a remote collar. Most of the collars come with instructions on the basic use of the collar but not the actual training theory when it comes the dog itself.

The concept is simple yet effective. match the training simulation to the dog! This will cut your training time and effort in 1/2. A safe and humane system when used properly - the Frawley system is easy to follow and safe for your pet. The system works with any brand collar on the market and can be used instead of the manufactures normally crappy instructions (more geared towards the product itself instead of the training aspect).
Low level stimulation is the key here. Ed addresses the issue of matching stimulation levels to your dog and his/her training needs. Most training videos that come with training collars do not address this enough! Conditioning the dog to the collar is a very important part of the training. The old ways are proven wrong here - the days of the dog getting the collar put on and immediately behaving followed by the collar being removed and the bad behavior ensuing are totally dis proven.
No matter what collar you purchase and what advice you are given - Ed's DVD training series will be an invaluable asset to both you and your dog. I only wish I had found this product earlier in my training regimen with Riley! I am sure both of our lives would have been much easier.
